National Egg Artist Registry

The egg artist registry is the first such website of its kind in the world. Any eggshell artist in the United States can submit their work for inclusion in the registry. Anyone who holds a certification as a Master Eggshell Artist in their field is encouraged to provide documentation of that fact. No one will ever be charged for this service. It will be provided as a service to the eggshell artists of the world by Alan W. Rabon of GREAT EGGSpectations Studio who will host this website until the founding of the International Eggart Museum and Gallery. At that time it will be given over to the museum for safe keeping for posterity.

Each artist needs to submit high resolution photos of their original eggshell art. Samples of each design are all that is necessary. I cannot house hundreds of photos of each artist’s work just samples of your original art work. Nothing from kits should be submitted unless there are significant changes made to the original design. The originator of the design should also note that in any correspondence. I would also like a photo of you when you first started your egg art and a current photo for the archives. You must also submit a photo of how you sign your artwork. I also need a description and/or detailed photo of your signature on an egg. This will be how appraisers and collectors will be able to identify your artwork.

PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:

-          Sample photos of original artwork only. There will be a limit of 20 photos initially.

-          A photo of the artist when they began eggshell art.

-          A current photo of the eggshell artist.

-          A detailed photo showing the artist’s signature.

-          Any certifications earned.

Any awards received or special recognitions.

There is NO CHARGE for participating in the National Egg Art Registry. However, donations are accepted and appreciated for maintaining the site.
