Anne and Paul

Since I was a little girl, I have been interested in all things creative and have tried most everything at one time or another.  My Father used to call them “Anne’s little passions”.  I also loved to read when I was a young girl and when I read the story of Anastasia, daughter of Tsar Nicholas II, I was captivated by the still persistent rumor that she did not die with the rest of her family, but was still alive.  From that time on, I could not get enough information about this Royal Family, which led to a passion for Faberge Eggs.  One day as I was surfing the net, I saw a picture of a Faberge type egg done by an egg artist.  This took me to everything I could find online about this art and ultimately to both the Eggart Guild of Georgia and several online Yahoo Groups.  Two years later and untold amount of time and money, I know that everything ultimately led me to this art.

My life partner, Paul, was enlisted to help me with the carving tools, air compressors, etc. and that led to his interest in egg art also.
